Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel

"Main Entrance"

Norfolk Hotel, which recently became a Fairmont Hotel in 2004, when the hotel celebrated it’s 100th birthday is one of Kenya’s best known luxury hotels.

Norfolk can be described as an Old English, semi Colonial hotel, with vintage cars and carridges in display in the courtyard/garden. This luxurious hotel is a rich part of Kenya’s history, first opened in 1904 by a British Major C.G.R. Ringer along with the Christmas tradition which is still very much alive today.

Many interesting characters in History and celebrities have passed through their doors and i am sure there will be many more to come.

Located in Town, Norfolk is very central and manages to keep a very private, suburban feel.
