The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a charity, established in 1977 to honour to memory of a famous Naturalist, David Leslie William Sheldrick, who was the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya.

It is now run by his wife Daphne Sheldrick, who works hard with her local team of keepers and vetenarians to raise and rehabilitate young and orpahaned elephants and rhinos.

You can go see the baby elephants and rhino’s in their play time, which will be a great contribution to their care.
